Subang Fertility Centre (formerly known as Pivet Laboratory Malaysia) was established in 1985. It was one of the first fertility units to be set up in the private sector in Malaysia.

The work done at Subang Fertility Centre has resulted in many achievements. This includes the first In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) birth (1987) and the first Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) birth (1997) in the country.

The Centre is also one of the first units in the country to successfully deliver babies born through ICSI with frozen-thawed and freshly retrieved testicular sperm from Surgical Sperm Retrieval (SSR) methods.
 

It was also one of the first centres to provide treatment with recombinant drug technology, resulting in the very first IVF and ICSI births with these newer medications in Malaysia.
